Cortico does not allow patients to cancel their appointments within 24 hours of it. This prevents any last minute cancellations at your clinic.

If your clinic has a cancellation policy, there are several easy ways to strictly enforce it through Cortico:

  1. Include a message regarding your cancellation policy in your first and last page pop-up so that patients are aware of it. You can use HTML text to emphasize the message. Click here to learn how to do this.
  2. Include a message regarding your cancellation policy in your email policy. It will be included in patient's confirmation emails and reminder emails. Click here to learn how to edit your email policy
  3. Although patients can cancel appointments until 24 hours prior to the appointment, your cancellation policy can request them to cancel their appointment at least 3 days before. This can be effective if your clinic books up very fast and you do not want patients cancelling appointments 48 hours prior to them.

Note: If a patient wants to cancel an appointment less than 24 hours prior to it, they will have to contact their clinic to request for it.
