After making changes in doctor schedules in Oscar, these changes are sometimes not updated in Cortico right away. To ensure that bookings for these doctors are not disrupted and their availability is visible for patients in Cortico, follow the following steps.

Steps to solve:

  1. Cancel "Do Not Book" blocks in Oscar as they can prevent the doctor's schedule from loading in Cortico.
  2. Check if doctor's provider number is the same in Cortico and Oscar.
    • To view it in Cortico, click on "Staff"
    • Scroll to the doctor whose schedule you just made changes to in Oscar
    • Click on the pencil icon beside the blue "Doctor"
    • The provider number is listed after the Doctor's name
    • If the provider number is incorrect, click "Edit" to make changes
    • Press "Save" on the bottom left corner after making any changes

  3. Check if template codes are the same in Cortico and Oscar.
    • To view it in Cortico, click on "Workflows"
    • Select the workflow you made changes to and click on the pencil icon to edit
    • Press "Save" on the bottom left corner after making any changes
  4. Have you changed the appointment duration for the template code you are using in the doctor's schedule? If so, please let help@cortico.ca know and we can update the appointment duration from our end.
  5. Go to "Manage Cache" to reload doctor schedules.
  6. Contact help@cortico.ca to confirm that the doctor's appointment duration is the same in your Oscar schedule and in Cortico. 

How to reload doctor schedules in "Manage Cache" page:

Doctor schedules are updated from Oscar once an hour, but you can manually reload them by clicking "Reload doctor schedules" in the "Manage Cache" page.

Steps to Reload Doctor Schedules:

  1. Login to your Cortico account
  2. Click on "Menu" on the top left corner of the page
  3. Click on "Manage Cache"
  4. Click on "Reload Doctor Schedules"

Please note that reloading doctor schedules may take several minutes, and you may need to refresh the page to see the updated status. Frequently reloading doctor schedules can negatively impact the performance of your Oscar.
