This fee is charged during the appointment booking process and applies to patients who do not have a health card or are privately insured. This is based off information in their EMR or information provided during patient registration.

When a private patient goes through the booking process, the patient will be prompted to pay the amount configured in the admin.

Booking Flow

Private patients are identified in Step 1: Patient Identification.

In Step 2: Patient Information, private patients are notified of the fee.

In Step 4: Additional information, patients must enter their billing information before booking the appointment. The patient is charged when the appointment is booked.
