This article walks through the program from start to finish: where to find it, the two ways to refer, how rewards are paid out, and the program terms.
1. What you get
The referral program is a two-sided reward. When someone you refer attends a Cortico product demo:
You (the referrer) receive a $50 gift card to a store of your choosing, or $50 in service credit toward your Cortico account.
Your colleague (the person you referred) receives the same: a $50 gift card of their choosing, or service credit (provided they become a Cortico user).
The reward is unlocked by the demo being attended, not just booked. Your colleague is under no obligation to become a customer for the reward to be earned.
2. Where to find the referral panel
The referral system can be found inside the Cortico plug-in. Open the plug-in and select Refer a Colleague (look for the EARN $50 badge in the sidebar). You will see two tabs:
Referral Link - copy and share your personal link.
Email Introduction - send a warm intro email directly to a colleague.
Both methods lead to the same reward. Pick whichever suits how you want to reach the person.
3. Option A: Share your unique referral link
This is the fastest way to refer someone, and it works for one person or many.
Step 1 - Copy your link:
Under Share Your Unique Referral Link, click Copy. Your link will look something like this:

The ref number at the end is your personal referral ID. It is what ties any resulting demo back to you, so always share the full link without editing it.
Step 2 - Send it:
Paste the link wherever you like: a text, a direct message, or an email. You can also use the Share buttons to post or send through Facebook, LinkedIn, or WhatsApp.
Step 3 - Your colleague books a demo:
When your colleague opens the link, they land on a personalized invite page that reads "You've been invited to try Cortico" with your name shown as the referrer. They complete a short form with their:
Clinic name
Number of providers
Clinic software (EMR/EHR)
Full name
Email
Mobile phone
They then click Book a Demo. The page notes that the offer is reserved for them for 30 days from the moment they book, so it is worth encouraging them not to wait too long to attend.
4. Option B: Send an email introduction
If you would rather make a personal introduction than send a raw link, switch to the Email Introduction tab.
Under Send a Personal Email Introduction, you will see an Email Preview of a short, friendly note introducing Cortico to your colleague. The message also CCs the Cortico team so they can reach out and set up a demo directly.
Click Send Email. This opens a pre-filled message in your own email program with the Cortico sales team already included. Add your colleague's email address, personalize the note if you like, and send it from your own inbox.
From there, the Cortico team coordinates the demo with your colleague. The reward works exactly the same as the link method: once your colleague attends the demo, you both qualify.
5. How and when you get your reward
Your colleague attends their Cortico demo.
Cortico confirms the demo took place and that the referral is valid (see the terms below).
Both you and your colleague are contacted to choose your $50 reward: a gift card to a participating store, or service credit applied to a Cortico account.
Rewards are issued after the demo is attended and verified, not at the point the link is clicked or the form is submitted. If you have referred several people, you earn a reward for each qualifying referral, subject to the limits in the terms below.
6. Program terms and eligibility
These terms keep the program fair and protect it from misuse. By taking part, both referrers and referred parties agree to them.
Who can take part:
The referred clinic must be a genuinely new prospect: a clinic that is not already a Cortico customer and is not already in an active sales conversation with Cortico.
The person who books and attends the demo must be an authorized representative or decision-maker for a real, operating clinic.
You may not refer yourself, your own clinic, or any account you control or are affiliated with. Self-referrals do not qualify.
What counts as a qualifying referral:
A demo must be booked through your referral link or email introduction and then actually attended.
A no-show, a cancelled demo, or a duplicate booking does not qualify.
Each referred clinic counts once. If more than one person refers the same clinic, the first valid referral on record is the one that earns the reward.
Reward eligibility is tied to the original referral. The 30-day reservation window begins when the demo is booked.
Reward details:
The reward is a $50 gift card to a participating merchant of the recipient's choice, subject to availability, or $50 in Cortico service credit.
Rewards have no cash value beyond the stated amount and cannot be exchanged for cash.
The reward is not transferable and cannot be combined with other Cortico promotions unless Cortico states otherwise.
Sharing responsibly:
Only share your link or send an introduction to people you know and who would reasonably welcome it.
Do not post your link as spam, send unsolicited bulk messages, or distribute it through automated means. This protects both you and Cortico's compliance with anti-spam laws (including CASL and CAN-SPAM).
Misrepresenting yourself, Cortico, or the offer is not permitted.
Prohibited activity:
The following will disqualify a referral and may result in removal from the program:
Submitting false, misleading, or fabricated clinic or contact information.
Creating fake, duplicate, or non-genuine clinics or demo bookings.
Using bots, scripts, or automated tools to generate referrals or form submissions.
Coordinating with others to manufacture referrals that do not represent a genuine prospect.
Any other attempt to game, abuse, or circumvent the program or these terms.
Cortico's discretion:
Cortico verifies referrals before issuing rewards and reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to:
Confirm the legitimacy of any referral, demo, or participant before paying a reward.
Delay, withhold, reduce, or revoke any reward where a referral does not meet these terms or is suspected of abuse.
Disqualify any participant from the program.
Modify, suspend, or end the program, or change the reward, at any time and without notice.
Decisions made by Cortico regarding eligibility and rewards are final. Information submitted through the referral link or email introduction is handled in line with Cortico's Privacy Policy.
7. Frequently asked questions
Does my colleague have to buy Cortico for me to get the reward?
No. The reward is unlocked when they attend the demo. There is no purchase requirement.
Can I refer more than one clinic?
Yes. You earn a reward for each qualifying referral, subject to the one-reward-per-clinic and discretion rules above.
My colleague booked but hasn't attended yet. When do we get paid?
Rewards are issued after the demo is attended and verified. The offer is reserved for 30 days from the time they book.
What stores can I choose from?
You choose from the participating merchants available at the time your reward is issued, or you can take the $50 as Cortico service credit instead.
Can I edit my referral link?
No. Always share the full link exactly as copied. The ref ID at the end is how the demo is tied back to you.
