Oscar Integration

Oscar Lab Auto Labelling

Oscar Enhancement Suite automatic lab renaming feature aims to reduce overhead on identifying some of the lab results.

Updated 2 weeks ago

The plugin by default, will try to rename some of the lab results based on set of patterns that are present in the lab results. It is important to note that the plugin only changes the appearance of the labels and does not register these changes to the EMR (Oscar). It also can simply be turned off in the Configuration page of the plugin. The renaming process follows a general mapping which we hope to refine over time to save time for doctors in their workflow, the mappings as of currently are:

  • HAEM1:CBC

  • HAEM3:INR

  • HAEM8:SemAn

  • CHEM1:FE

  • CHEM2:UA

  • CHEM3.5:ABG

  • CHEM4:LYTES/A1C

  • CHEM5:CK

  • CHEM5.5:TROP

  • CHEM6:CHOL

  • CHEM8:GLUC

  • CHEM9:UCHEM

  • CHEM10:ACR

  • CHEM11:TSH

  • CHEM12:PITHorm

  • CHEM14:CaTests

  • CHEM15:HCG-Horm

  • CHEM17:CRP

  • CHEM19:SAL/ACET

  • CHEM21:ETOH

  • CHEM25:FOBT

  • CHEM28:PTH

  • MICRO3':UCUL

  • REFER2:HepHIVSer

We are welcoming and open to feedback on these mappings, please contact us if you'd like to share your inputs.
