Release Notes (Technical)
Cortico 6.8 — Changes will be released to clinics on March 22, 2021
Updated 4 days ago
Updates to the appointment booking page:
Updated any references to the province in the COVID screening form to use the clinic's province, rather than always BC.
For Ontario clinics, we display the message "No Health Card (visits free in Ontario at this time)" instead of "No Health Card (private insurance or pay)" in the link to switch between booking using a health card and booking as a private-paying patient.
We allow clinics to use a booking link with a preset pharmacy. In this workflow, the pharmacy selection dropdown will not be shown, and the preset pharmacy will be used.
Updates to the Clinic Settings page:
Added a default booking range to Workflow configuration. This default booking range will be initiated when creating new Specializations for doctors.
We now display the doctor's location in the Staff summary if the clinic has locations configured.
Specialization cards in the provider modal will now be editable by default when the provider modal is opened.
Updates to the Patient Portal (note: alpha feature):
Updated emails sent to the patient to make the link to the Patient Portal more prominent
Added visual feedback when the selected pharmacy has been saved (for clinics that have enabled the pharmacy selection feature).
Updates to video appointments:
Clinics can now add a custom popup notice shown to the patient at the start of a video appointment. (e.g. "Welcome! I will start the video call as soon as I can. If we run into technical issues...") A default notice can be set for the clinic, and an additional custom notice can be added for individual doctors.
Moved the "mute microphone" and "turn off camera" buttons so that they no longer overlap the video.
Updates to the patient form:
Removed Allergies, Emergency contact name, and Emergency contact phone from clinics that do not use Juno as their Oscar provider. (We currently save this information in the Notes field in the patient chart, and saving to this field is not supported in non-Juno Oscar instances.)
Added a security check so that the patient form cannot be accessed unless the patient comes from a terminal, or if it is new patient signup.
Fixed a bug in the terminal where the new patient checks inactivity timeout redirects to the homepage instead of the terminal lookup page.
