A summary of steps to set up AI automation features
Updated 1 hour ago
The setup requires access to your Oscar service. We recommend you create a new administrator account for our AI partner, WaiveTheWait (WTW). WTW will only access your Oscar Demographic API, Appointment API, Documents API, Ticklers API, but our Support Representative may also use the credentials to troubleshoot any problems you report. We take great care to ensure any patient information remains private.
Add "AI automation" in Administration > User Management > Add a Provider Record
Assign the user to all locations by checking those off in the provider record
Create a "AI automation" login in Administration > User Management > Add a Login Record. Make sure to leave Expiry Date blank.
Note: The Expiry Date field value will take effect even if you uncheck the Expiry Date checkbox. If you’ve accidentally enabled the field and are unable to clear it, set the expiry date to a value in the far future.
Note: If you are unblocking an expired user, you may need to also update the password for it to work.
Assign the “admin” roles for the "AI automation" user in Administration > User Management > Assign Role to Provider by selecting “admin” in the dropdown and clicking “Add” on the right
A video guide on generating these credentials can be found here on Loom.
